CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Donald Lee "Donnie" Pullen, 53, of Charleston died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Feb. 1, 1951, at Charleston, son of E.H. "Sonny" and Wanda Hurley Pullen. He and Bonnie LaPlant were married June 12, 1970.
Pullen was employed with Pullen Brothers Trucking Co. at Sikeston, Mo., and was a member of the Sikeston Elks Lodge. He was a member of the First Christian Church at Charleston and VFW Post 4294.
Survivors include his father of Sikeston; his wife; a son, Lee Pullen of Charleston; a daughter, Stacey Groves of Charleston; four brothers, Jerry and Jim Pullen of Sikeston, Ronnie and Douglas Pullen of Diehlstadt, Mo.; a sister, Jo Ann Weaver of Livington, Texas; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home at Charleston.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Malugen officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
