Donald McBride

BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- Donald McBride of Bonne Terre was born May 1, 1941, in Esther, Missouri, to the late Donald and Virginia Barron McBride. Donald passed away at Parkland Health Center South on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 18 days.

Donald was a member of New Beginning Worship Center at Farmington, Missouri. He had also been a Master Mason at Pendleton Lodge No. 551 in Doe Run, Missouri.

Donald enlisted in the Navy in 1960 and proudly served the United States.

Donald is survived by a son, Robert (Melinda) McBride of Jackson; grandchildren, Karley and Korey McBride, children of Robert and Melinda McBride, and Christopher McBride, son of Rayanne McBride Smith; brothers, Homer, Danny (Brenda) and Randy McBride; many great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces; and family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Sharon Dawson McBride; son, Donald McBride Jr.; daughter, Rayanne McBride Smith; grandson Kolvey Smith, son of Rayanne McBride Smith; and sister-in-law, Jean McBride.

Donald will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Arrangements are under the direction of Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri.

Private services will be held.
