DONALD M. ABERNATHY

Donald M. Abernathy, 57, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Aug. 28, 1937, in Longtown, son of Milton John and Violet Mae Graves Abernathy. He and Zona Gale Mueller were married Aug. 15, 1964.

Abernathy was distribution manager with Paramount Liquor Co. of Missouri.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John and Brett Abernathy of Cape Girardeau; a brother, John Abernathy of Jackson; two sisters, Winnie Frentzel of Perryville, and Doris Slattery of Longtown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 5:30-9 p.m. today, and on Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to service time.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.
