MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral for Donald Howard Knapp of Millersville will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Roger Christiansen will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Knapp, 56, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of Herman H. and Ersie V. Mungle Knapp.
Knapp was a 1960 graduate of Central High School in Cape Girardeau.
He was a mechanical engineer on a riverboat with Ashland Oil Co. 24 years.
Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; a brother, James Knapp of Whitewater; two sisters, Elaine Shirrell of Cape Girardeau, and Pamela Mahoney of McClure, Ill.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
