SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Donald J. Pasaka of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 tonight.
Pasaka, 70 years old, died Monday, Jan. 21, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born May 11, 1920, at Lake Geneva, Wis. He first married Joy Edwards in 1944, who died May 12, 1981. He later married Glenda Gardner April 6, 1984.
Pasaka was postmaster at Sikeston a number of years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of First United Methodist Church here. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, and after his discharge served as captain of the Army reserve unit here.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John Pasaka of Washington, D.C., and three grandchildren, Tim, Jason and Becky Howell of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheri Howell, in 1983; two brothers and a sister.
