PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Donald J. "Don" Gremaud, 71, of Perryville died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 25, 1932, at Claryville, Mo., son of Oliver F. and Anna J. DePauw Gremaud. He and Myra L. Wibbenmeyer were married Feb. 9, 1952, in Perryville.
Gremaud was a farmer. He was president of Bois Brule Drainage District, member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perry County Port Authority, 3rd Degree member Knights of Columbus, and past member of Union Planters Bank Board of Directors.
Survivors include his wife; seven sons, Michael, Joe, Mark, Neal, Ted, Scott and Brent Gremaud, all of Perryville; four daughters, Mary Rosenquist, Kristy Buchheit, Amy Naeger, all of Perryville, Tina Kramer of Jackson; a brother, Ronald Gremaud of Perryville; a sister, Nancy Doza of Perryville; 32 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 10:50 a.m. The Knights of Columbus and parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Revs. Kevin Fausz, Jeff Ernst and Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
