MORLEY, Mo. -- Donald David Gregory, 86, of Woodland, Calif., died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1914, at Morley, son of Oscar Lee and Rachel Sofrina Gregory. He first married Ruby Albertine Phegley, who died Dec. 17, 1991. He later married Ann Arithson.
Gregory lived in Yolo County 20 years. He was a coal miner 30 years in Indiana and Wyoming, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodland, and the Masonic Lodge in Brazil, Ind.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Gregory of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Yvonne Hartzell of Pollock Pines, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Morley, with the Rev. Jeff Vaughn officiating.
