Donald Ervin Enderle, 76, of Scott City died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 10, 1934, in Kelso, Mo., to Michael Jacob and Johanna Bles Enderle. He and Marie Elizabeth McBride were married April 7, 1956, in Oran, Mo.
Enderle was employed by Girardeau Contractors. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 6420 in Scott City.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John Enderle of Union, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Garfield of Pevely, Mo., Debbie Bollinger of Benton, Mo.; two sisters, Anna Marie Burger of Kelso, Dorine Uhrhan of Dupo, Ill.; five grandchildren, David Bollinger, Donnie Garfield, Allison Enderle, Marissa Enderle and Makenzie Ikerman; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Alexandrhia Bollinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6:30, with KC service following.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Revs. Oliver Clavin and David Dohogne as celebrants. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Loos, Donald Garfield, David Uhrhan, John Enderle, David Bollinger, Kevin Ikerman.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Missouri State Highway Patrol: Lt. Elvin Seals, Sgt. Kevin Miller, Sgt. Jeff Heath, Sgt. Steve Ferrier, Sgt. Mark Stamps, Sgt. Marc McCalister, Sgt. Henry Moore and Sgt. Dan Caldwell.
