OLMSTED, Ill. -- Don L. Gore, 71, of Springfield, Ill., formerly of Olmsted, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at his home.
He was born July 4, 1934, in Pulaski County, Ill., son of Don C. and Pearl Basse Gore. He married Wilma Marie Tennis, who died July 4, 1998.
Gore was a public health accountant 10 years.
Survivors include a son, Stan Gore of Riverton, Ill.; a daughter, Kathy Gore of Springfield; three brothers, Carlos Gore of Peoria, Ill., Forrest Gore of Clarksville, Tenn., Calvin Gore of Swansea, Ill.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill., from 10 a.m. until time of service today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Stott officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery at Olmsted.
