MARBLE HILL -- Dolphie Lee Fisher, 76, of Overland, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1992, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton. He was born Nov. 8, 1915, at Sank, son of Lee and Rozetta Hahn Fisher. He and Alda Elizabeth Myers were married Feb. 7, 1934. Fisher lived in this area until moving to Overland in 1957...

MARBLE HILL -- Dolphie Lee Fisher, 76, of Overland, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1992, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton.

He was born Nov. 8, 1915, at Sank, son of Lee and Rozetta Hahn Fisher. He and Alda Elizabeth Myers were married Feb. 7, 1934. Fisher lived in this area until moving to Overland in 1957.

Fisher had worked at McDonnell-Douglas. He was a member of Venita Park General Baptist Church, was an ordained deacon, had taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Men's Garden Club of Ritenour.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, D.L. Fisher Jr. and John Fisher of Florissant; five daughters, Anna Cloninger of Zalma, Dorothy Boyd of Cape Girardeau, Rachel Winchester of Marble Hill, Wilma Johns of St. Louis, Catherine Henson of Overland; a brother, Brice Fisher of Marion, Ill.; three sisters, Alma Murdock of Greenfield, Ill., Hallie Vesterby and Dora Cooper of Zalma; 20 grandchildren, and 10 seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Revs. Roy Stanfill and Fred Applegate will officiate, with burial in Dry Creek Cemetery at Marble Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
