Dolores V. Wagner, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 21, 1919, at Philadelphia, Penn., daughter of William and Veronica Quigley Thixton. She and Ivan Clark Wagner were married Dec. 7, 1941, at Yuma, Ariz. He died in 1991...

Dolores V. Wagner, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 21, 1919, at Philadelphia, Penn., daughter of William and Veronica Quigley Thixton.

She and Ivan Clark Wagner were married Dec. 7, 1941, at Yuma, Ariz. He died in 1991.

She was a seamstress at Consolidated Aircraft Factory in San Diego, Calif., during World War II, making seat covers for airplanes.

She was a member of the Church of God, VFW auxiliary, the Neighborhood Card Club and was a past member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a son.

Survivors include a son, Roger Wagner of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Bonnie Ourth of Jackson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
