MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. -- Dolores Iona Todd, 88, of Mountain Home passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, in Mountain Home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1925, in Plainville, Indiana, daughter of Delbert and Mary Frances Harbaugh Slatton. She married Charles Calvin Todd June 15, 1943, in Columbus, Georgia.
Dolores raised five sons. She was a pastor's wife and was responsible for taking care of the food pantries and clothes closets for the different ministries.
She lived in Mountain Home many years, moving from Herculaneum, Missouri. She was a member of Gamaliel Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, reading and Bible study.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Delbert (Nancy) Todd of Jackson, Jesse Ray (Jacqueline) Todd of Eureka, Missouri, and Tony (Becky) Todd of Mountain Home; two daughters-in-law, Rose Todd of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Mary Todd of Vanduser, Missouri.
Also 11 grandchildren, Mark (Janice) Todd of Jackson, Jeffrey Todd of Scott City, Tony (Valerie) Todd of St. Louis, Paul Todd of Sikeston, Missouri, Catinna Fitchpatrick of Vanduser, Chrystal (David) Carrera of Mascoutah, Illinois, Jim (Melody) Todd of Jackson, Dolores (Larry) Triller of Perryville, Missouri, Keith (Tisha) Todd of Jackson, Jesse (Kim) Todd of Mountain Home, and Christopher Todd of Clark Ridge, Arkansas; 19 great-grandchildren, Jessica Todd, Nick and Claudia Cassout, Max and Sam Todd, Bryan Todd, Tyler and Maddie Fitchpatrick, Derek, Joshlyn and Zerika Carrera, Crystal and Chelsea Todd, Dylan Christisen, Kyle and Lexton Triller, Cheyenne and Daniel Todd, Kaitlyn Todd; two great-great-grandchildren, Derek Carrera and Kaiden Todd; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Keith Allen Todd and Mark Edward Todd; a grandson, Charles David Todd; a brother, Delbert Ray Slatton; and a sister, Patricia Lund.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Monday at New Hope Baptist Church in Pollard, Arkansas.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.
Pallbearers will be Mark, Jeffrey, Tony, Paul, Jim, Keith, Jesse and Christopher Todd.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home.
