MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Dolores Huff, age 69, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at Woodland Hills.
She was born March 31, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Johnie and Maggie Rocilla Shell Myers. She and William E. Huff united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1967, in Marble Hill, and he passed away Aug. 3, 2016.
Dolores retired from Woodland Hills Nursing home as the activity director and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Advance, Missouri. Her faith was particularly important to her. She loved to sing and play piano, cook, quilt and laugh. She made a special graduation quilt for each of her grandkids.
Survivors include a son Richard (Janet) Huff of Marble Hill; daughter, Sheila Hodges of Marble Hill; sister, Joyce McAtee of Advance; four grandchildren, Katelynn Huff (Steven Gregory) of Cape Girardeau; Rainey (Colton) Johnson of Fredericktown, Missouri; Ryan Huff of Gillette, Wyoming; and Madison Huff (Clifford Ebert) of Marble Hill; two sisters-in-law, Donna (Jim) Barks of Glen Allen, Missouri, and Monie (Alan) Stoverink of Marble Hill; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Bill Huff.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tim Nanney and Porky Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
