DOLLY YOUNG

MOREHOUSE -- Graveside service for Dolly Young of Denton, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston. The Rev. H. Worth will officiate.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Morehouse is in charge of arrangements.

Young, 76, died Saturday, June 27, 1998, at Denton Community Hospital in Denton.

She was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Henning, Tenn., daughter of Press and Ora Dell Herron. She and James Wyatt Young were married July 20, 1941. He died July 21, 1972.

Young lived at Morehouse from 1948 until moving to Denton in 1994. She worked in the cafeteria at Morehouse Schools.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell Young of Denton, Jimmy Young of Morehouse; a daughter, Helen Borden of Sikeston; a sister, Frances Glass of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
