Dolly E. Copman Land, 96, of Delta passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 30, 1918, at Brownwood, Missouri, daughter of Edward and Emma Magg Copman.
Dolly was an election judge for state and presidential elections. She was elected to the Township Board, operated a home daycare, and worked at McLard's Restaurant in Delta. She attended the Church of God. She loved her kids and grandkids.
She and Albert Rudolph Land were married in December 1939 at Jackson. He preceded her in death in October 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Don Land of Benton, Missouri, and Larry Land of Mascoutah, Illinois; a daughter, Emma Land of the home; a sister, Alene Surface of Hannibal, Missouri; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
