DEXTER, Mo. -- Dollie Jones Jenkins, 85, of Dexter died Saturday, May 22, 2004, at her home.
She was born Aug. 11, 1918, at Vanduser, Mo., daughter of John and Mary Husk Clark. She and Lester Jones were married Dec. 19, 1936, at Jackson. He died March 26, 1958. She and Walter Jenkins were married Nov. 24, 1959, in Indiana. He died Nov. 19, 1979.
Jenkins was a retired seamstress for Inland Shoe Company and a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Dexter.
Survivors include two sons, Hilbert Jones of Sulphur, La., and Wesley Jones of Jackson; two daughters, Doris Elder of Dexter and Margaret Pauling of Freemont, Ohio; a brother, Thomas Finley of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Christine Slinkard of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and her stepfather.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Winferd Wren officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee, Mo.
