DOIAL D. HILL

JONESBORO, Ill. -- -- Doial D. Hill, 86, of Jonesboro, died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at the Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Jan. 28, 1909, at Cobden, Ill., son of Everett and Meda Carraker Hill.

He was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna, and a member of the Ironworkers' Local 782 at Paducah, Ky.

He and Beulah Kimmel were married Aug. 20, 1933, at Anna.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Russell Hill of Jonesboro, Larry Hill of Anna and Marion Hill of Dongola, Ill.; two daughters, Joyce Plott and Sharon Morgan of Anna; four sisters, Mellie Christiansen of Dongola, and Ada Casper, Margaret Frogge and Imogene Schuster of Anna; two brothers, Rollie and Donald Hill of Anna; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two children, a brother and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Jim Hardway and Phil Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery with military honors provided by the VFW.
