Funeral for Dixie L. Bertrand of Fort Riley, Kan., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Wall will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Hobbs Chapel Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Bertrand, 3 months, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, at Irwin Army Unity Hospital.
She was born Aug. 19, 1998, in Fort Riley, daughter of Charles and Leah Coon Bertrand.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Charles Bertrand II of Fort Riley; two half sisters, Morgan and Lena Bertrand of Fort Riley; maternal grandparents, Jim and Lynda Coon of Alachua, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Denis and Christine Bertrand of Newbern, Tenn.; maternal great-grandparents, James and Martha Coon; and paternal great-grandparents, Frank and Martha Bertrand of Cape Girardeau.
