McCLURE, Ill. — Dianna Kaye Held, 73, of McClure died Monday, Feb. 12,2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by family.
She was born Jan. 23, 1951, to Benjamin McCain and Dorthy Clover. She and Roger Held were married Dec. 18, 1972, in Cape Girardeau.
Dianna's world revolved around her children and grandchildren; they did no wrong in her eyes. She was always there for all of them whenever they needed, and she is loved beyond measure by them.
She worked for a combined 29 years at Saint Francis Medical Center, where she was loved by all who had the privilege to work with her.
Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Held of Anna, Illinois, Jaime (Nathan) Wills of McClure and Stacy (David) Mathey of Justin, Texas; three brothers, Rick McCain of Cadet, Paul Eugene Cook of Neosho and Jeff (Tina) Cook of Cadet; nine grandchildren, Roger Lee, Kaylee, Kannen, Alyssa, Dustin, Dryden, Ethan, Brody and Gunner; one great-grandchild, Ryder, and one on the way.
Dianna was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother and husband.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Feb. 16, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at noon Friday, Feb. 16, at the funeral home, with Kenneth Verble officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
