Diana Gail Burroughs (nee O'Howell) of St. Peters, Mo., passed away peacefully on Sept. 7, 2010, at the age of 68.
Dear wife of Edwin J. Burroughs; loving mother of Christine (Bill) Tiefenbrunn and Vicki Burroughs; "Granner" to Kennedy Tiefenbrunn; dear daughter of the late Anna O'Howell; sister to Elinor Smyers and the late Ray O'Howell; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. She will be missed by all.
Diana was born at Cape Girardeau and attended Cape Central High School ('59) and Southeast Missouri State University('66).
She was a teacher in the Fox, Florissant and Fort Zumwalt school districts, for Head Start, and also worked for Mid-East Area Agency on Aging.
Visitation was Saturday at Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home in St. Charles, Mo. She will be cremated and later buried in a private ceremony in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the PKD Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas City, MO 64114.
