CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Devlin A. Gaither of Springfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ayre-Goodwin Lee Funeral Chapel in Springfield. The Rev. Paul Reed will officiate.
Burial will be Saturday in Gaither-Speer Cemetery near Lutesville, with Liley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Gaither, 42 years old, died Thursday, March 21, 1991, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield.
He was born July 16, 1948, in Cape, son of Hillard Roy and Gloria Marie Palencher Gaither.
Gaither was a truck driver with Daniels Trucking Co. in Springfield, and member of Zalma Masonic Lodge 545.
He graduated from Zalma High School in 1966, and was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.
Survivors include two daughters, Andrea Hicks of Sikeston, Christa Gaither of El Paso, Tex.; a son, Brian Gaither of El Paso; two brothers, Warren Gaither of Hillsboro, Ill., Ty Gaither of Springfield; two sisters, Donna Kelley of Grand Prairie, Tex., Cathryn Dalton of Arlington, Tex., and a granddaughter.
