MARBLE HILL -- Dessie Frances Plax, 73, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at Wappapello. She was born March 21, 1922, in Lutesville, daughter of Robert M. and Julie E. Shell James. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include a brother, Estel James of Marble Hill, and two sisters, Marie Stephens of Glen Allen and Virginia Healy of Marble Hill...

MARBLE HILL -- Dessie Frances Plax, 73, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at Wappapello.

She was born March 21, 1922, in Lutesville, daughter of Robert M. and Julie E. Shell James. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include a brother, Estel James of Marble Hill, and two sisters, Marie Stephens of Glen Allen and Virginia Healy of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate.
