MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Dessie Pearl Dennis, 77, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at her home following an illness.
She was born Nov. 10, 1928, at Patton, Mo., daughter of Leslie and Louie Slinkard Wilkinson. She and Dewey Dennis were married May 14, 1946. He died Feb. 23, 2000.
Dennis was a retired cook, and a member of Patton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Dennis of St. Clair, Mo., Bobby Dennis of Torrington, Wyo., Donnie Dennis of Slater, Mo.; two daughters, Mary Robinson of Slater, Margaret Denton of Marble Hill; two brothers, John Wilkinson of Marble Hill, Franklin Wilkinson of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Janice Douglas of Ironton, Mo., Lula Bell Angle of Marble Hill; a friend, Ariel Smith; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters, and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Geisert officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
