COBDEN, Ill. -- Derriel J. Rinehart, 88, of Cobden died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born July 20, 1909, in Anna, son of Jefferson and Laura Wright Rinehart. He first married Wreatha Clutts in October 1931. She died in August 1955. He and Bertha Williams were married Feb. 16, 1958...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Derriel J. Rinehart, 88, of Cobden died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born July 20, 1909, in Anna, son of Jefferson and Laura Wright Rinehart. He first married Wreatha Clutts in October 1931. She died in August 1955. He and Bertha Williams were married Feb. 16, 1958.

Rinehart retired from New York and Pennsylvania Central Railroads. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cobden.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marcia Lacy of Conway, Ark., Alice Spaulding of Louisville, Ky.; a stepson, Robert Williams of Cobden; two half sisters, Marcella Wolfe of West Frankfort, Virginia Thomason of St. Louis; a half brother, Fritz Craver of Port Richey, Fla.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
