Dennis W. Turner, 71, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Cape Girardeau to Homer and Frances Holloway Turner, Jr.
Dennis owned Turner Carpet Service for 30 years, worked for Advanced Pest Control and Drury Southwest, West Park Lanes.
Dennis was dearly loved by other family members and many close friends. He impacted so many lives, just being “Dennis.”
Loving survivors include his wife, Gigi Orcutt Turner; children, Amy (Jeremy) Wyatt of Troy, Illinois, Sarah (Dave) Mello of Cottonwood, California, Allison Turner (Kyle Cook) of Cape Girardeau, Justin (Melissa) Statler of Clearwater, Florida, Hannah Seib of Imperial, Missouri, and Miranda (Cody) Cook of Fort Riley, Kansas; brother, Stan (Brenda) Turner of Millersville; sister-in-law, Pat Turner of Lewes, Delaware; grandchildren, Ava Wyatt, Conner Nichols, Elena Cook, Mason Cook, Nolan Seib, Faith Seib, Max Mello and Fynn Cook, who is expected to arrive in April.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Turner; and infant son, Jeffrey Scott Turner.
Private services will be held.
A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a later date.
