Dennis Leroy Howard Jr., 37, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Feb. 24, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, son of Dennis Leroy and Barbara Senciboy Howard Sr. He was also known by his friends as L.A. Buchanan.

Dennis was a hairdresser.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Barbara N. and Tommy L. Sander of Cape Girardeau; a son; maternal grandfather, Harold Senciboy of Perkins, Mo.; a stepbrother, Keith Sander of Jackson; two sisters, Denise Hanks and Debra Pobst of Cape Girardeau; a stepsister, Shelbey Mayberry of Jackson; and a family friend, Tim Beetley of Sikeston, Mo.

There is no visitation.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
