PULASKI, Ill. — Ella Delores Rouse, 90, of Pulaski passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. Delores was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Venice, Illinois, daughter of the late Barney Raymond and Irene Richardson Hall. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch, Illinois, where she was a former song leader, taught Sunday school and was a member of the women's ministry. ...

PULASKI, Ill. — Ella Delores Rouse, 90, of Pulaski passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida.

Delores was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Venice, Illinois, daughter of the late Barney Raymond and Irene Richardson Hall.

She was a lifelong member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch, Illinois, where she was a former song leader, taught Sunday school and was a member of the women's ministry. Delores and her husband owned Rouse Grocery Stores in Olive Branch, Cairo, Illinois, and Pulaski. She was a member of Caledonia Eastern Star Chapter No. 587 in Olive Branch, where she held several officer positions.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie (David) Malone; grandchildren, Jenna (Brent) Britton, Taylor (Kyle) Lacey and Aryn Malone; great-grandchildren, Kevin Britton, Abagayle Britton, Noah Britton, Levi Lacey and Ella Kate Britton; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, William "Buddy" Rouse, on March 22, 2022; six sisters; and one brother.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday, Jan. 20, at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at the church. Pastor Stephen Clardy will officiate. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Olive Branch.
