SIKESTON -- Delores L. Tubbs, 74, of Chaffee Nursing Center, died Monday, March 7, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Sikeston, daughter of Henry and Tina Williams Parks. She and James A. Tubbs were married in 1953. He died Nov. 1, 1970...

SIKESTON -- Delores L. Tubbs, 74, of Chaffee Nursing Center, died Monday, March 7, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Sikeston, daughter of Henry and Tina Williams Parks. She and James A. Tubbs were married in 1953. He died Nov. 1, 1970.

Survivors include three brothers, Bobby Parks of St. Louis, Glen Parks of Morley, Len Parks of Sikeston, and a sister, Deloma Pace of Scott City.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and four brothers.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Frank Gentry officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
