ULLIN, Ill. -- Delores A. Crippen Coursey, 81, of Ullin passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at her home.

She was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Ullin, daughter of Olen and Mable Sutton Crippen. She and Ivan M. Coursey were married Oct. 2, 1954, in Ullin.

Delores was a member of Community of Christ Church in Metropolis, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald (Cathy) Coursey of Peotone, Illinois, John (Debra) Coursey of Grant Park, Illinois; four brothers, Gerald Crippen of Lincoln, Illinois, Harold (Mary) Crippen of Marion, Illinois, Jack (Judy) Crippen and Carl (Sue) Crippen of Ullin; a sister, Sharilyn Wright of Ullin; two grandchildren, Thomas Coursey and Sarah (Matt) Colbert; several nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Eloise Bryant; three brothers, Charles "Sonny", Junior and Leland Crippen.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Illinois.

The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with Elder Gordon Ashley officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery east of Ullin.
