Delmar Ray Crites,74, of Jackson, died Sunday, Feb.14, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Jackson, son of Courtland R. and Clolie Agnes Ackman Crites. He was a repairman at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and later worked for Crown Cadillac and Riverside Lumber, both of Cape Girardeau, Lanter Courier and Cape Girardeau County Transit. Delmar Ray Crites,74, of Jackson, died Sunday, Feb.14, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Jackson, son of Courtland R. and Clolie Agnes Ackman Crites.

He was a repairman at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and later worked for Crown Cadillac and Riverside Lumber, both of Cape Girardeau, Lanter Courier and Cape Girardeau County Transit. He was also a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church in Mayfield, Mo.

He is survived by a son, Dwayne Robert Crites; a daughter, Sharon (Phil) Weaver of Millersville; a brother, David (Sylvia) Crites of Peoria, Ariz.; two grandsons, Kevin and Mark (Jennifer) Weaver; and a great-grandson, Dylan.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Donnie Ford officiating.

Arrangements were handled by Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home of Jackson.
