Dellice E. Wagner, 83, of Jackson died Friday, Dec. 27, 1996, at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 14, 1913 at Brownwood, son of Seth Wagner and Amy Wilson Wagner.
He married Martha Pobst May 2, 1935, at Oran. She survives.
He was a veteran of the Air Force during World War II. He received three battle stars, Asiatic and Pacific ribbons and victory medals.
He retired from the Trail of Tears State Park, where he worked in park maintenance.
Other survivors are a daughter, Jean Brown of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Herschel Wagner, Cape Girardeau; a sister, Sevella Bock, Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Old Guardian Angel Cemetery at Oran. A veterans service will be held at the cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. today.
