DELLA M. PEETZ

GORDONVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Della Mae Peetz of Gordonville Route 3 will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in St. James Cemetery at Tilsit.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Mrs. Peetz, 58 years old, died Monday, April 22, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 8, 1932, near Jackson, daughter of Louis and Lydia Brennecke Maag. She married Ervin Peetz June 11, 1950, at Jackson.

Mrs. Peetz had lived on the family farm since 1954. She was a 1952 graduate of Cape Girardeau School of Beauty Culture. She was a beautician in Cape and Jackson from 1952-75, and then at the Lutheran Home from 1975-85. She was a lifelong member of Emanuel United Church of Christ at Jackson, and former member of Bethany Circle.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Scott Peetz of Gordonville Route 3, Kent Peetz of Fayetteville, Ark.; a sister, Dorothy Peetz of Jackson Route 6; two grandchildren, Levon Peetz of Gordonville Route 3 and Mandy Peetz of Fayetteville.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
