EAST PRAIRIE -- Delbert Wilson, 86, of East Prairie, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 1994, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born June 12, 1908, in Grayson County, Ky., son of William H. and Arpha Brooks Wilson. He and Margaret Hanor were married Feb. 14, 1935.
Wilson was a retired carpenter, and member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Edward Wilson of Pickerington, Ohio, Frank Wilson of Gerald, Delbert Wilson of East Prairie; six daughters, Alma Crook and Georgia Kaemmerer of Florissant, Mildred Moore of LaCenter, Ky., Ruth Morgan, Linda Chance and JoAnn Secoy of East Prairie; two brothers, Gene Wilson of Grosse Point Park, Mich., Dempster Wilson of Gibson City, Ill.; a sister, Madge Kennedy of Provo, Utah; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastors Jim Nichols and Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near here.
