CHAFFEE -- Delbert K. White, 69, of Mascoutah, Ill., died Sunday, March 27, 1994, at the USAF Medical Center at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

He was born Sept. 20, 1924, at Chaffee, son of Grover and Ada Dunning White. He married Martha L. Middendorf, who died April 9, 1993.

White retired as a master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force in 1968. He was also a retired laborer. He was a member of Laborer's Local 742, Mascoutah Sportsman's Club and Mascoutah Senior Citizens. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.

Survivors include a son, Steven White of Mascoutah; three daughters, Leilani Kelly of Belleville, Ill., Sylvia Cotter of Okawville, Ill., Angela Kemper of St. Louis; a brother, J.L. White of St. Louis; a sister, Lorene Kinsey of Chaffee; five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor William Causer will officiate, with burial in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
