Delores Jean "Dee" Walker, 80, of Hilmar, California, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014, in Turlock, California, after a brief battle with lung cancer.
She was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, where she graduated from Central High School in 1953. She married Charles "Tom" Walker in 1954.
They moved to Delhi, California, in 1967 with their three children, where they lived 37 years. They then moved to Hilmar, where they lived until she passed away.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; two sons, Terry Walker and wife Marty, and Shorty Walker and wife Susan of Denair, California; a daughter, Robin Fiorini and husband Greg of Turlock; two granddaughters, Amy White and husband Steven and Melissa Walker of Stevinson, California; and six great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Alana, Alexis, Madalynne, Owen and Steven.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Briggs, in 2006.
A memorial service was held June 7 at Chapel of Flowers Mausoleum in Turlock Memorial Park.
Turlock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
