ANNA, Ill. -- Dee Miller, 67, of Anna died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born June 20, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of Orville and Lucille Messenger Dammeyer. She and Max Miller were married Dec. 21, 1991.
Dee was a member at First Baptist Church of Anna and was treasurer at the church. Dee was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Survivors include her husband, Max; children, Jamie Wilkins, Bryan Miller (Mary K.), Kelli Dick (Doug Schluter), Jason Miller (J.J.) and Kelley Thorpe (Marcus), all of Anna; seven grandchildren, Olivia and Tess Wilkins, Abby, Brooke and Hannah Miller, Maddox and Beckett Thorpe; a brother, Bill Dammeyer of Johnsburg, Ill.; a sister, Janice Selbey of Wheaton, Ill.; nieces; nephews; other relatives; friends; and her furry friend, Milo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Justin King, March 15, 2000.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of service Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Anna or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
