Deborah Fornkohl, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at her daughter's home in Scott City.
She was born Nov. 26, 1952, in Mississippi County, Missouri, to Jesse W. and Edna Marie Vanpool Teague. She married Larry Fornkohl on Dec. 31, 1990, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2019.
She worked at Russell Corporation and the Florsheim Shoe factory.
Deborah was an avid painter and poet. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a son, Robbie (Megan) Poley of Jackson; three daughters, Melissa (Kenneth) Blankenship of Advance, Missouri; Christy (Maurice Mann) Parrish of Scott City; and Georgia Poley of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Steve (Tracy) Teague of McClure, Illinois; Gary (Cindy) Teague of Rolla, Missouri; Rocky (Mindy) Teague of Newburg, Missouri; and Ricky (Donna) Teague of Bloomington, Indiana; sister, Louise (Ronnie) Hampton of East Prairie, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Josh Tatum, Jakelee (Robin) Davis, Sarah (Joshua) Mobley, Brandon Worley, Deborah Worley, Jason Carwile and Patricia Poley; nine great- grandchildren, Stryker Mobley, Lettie Mobley, Wyatt Worley, Jaxon Carwile, Jacob, Caleb and Isabella Davis, Ivy Tatum and Hallow Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Teague officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
