Deborah Kaye Edwards, 68, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 4, 1952, in St. Louis to the late Edwin Eugene and Billie Theo Harrison Edwards, Sr.
Deborah proudly served her country in both the Army and the Navy. She loved to dance and go shopping.
Survivors include one son, Anthony (Kyleigh) Boliva; brothers, Edwin Eugene (Jewell) Edwards, Jr. of Herculaneum, Missouri, Bert (Pam) Edwards of De Soto, Missouri, and David (Dee) Edwards of Blackwell, Missouri; sister, Michelle (Mike) Burlage of Herculaneum; two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at 2 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
