ADVANCE -- David Winchester, 52, of Brighton, Ill., died Thursday, March 21, 1996, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 10, 1943, in Memphis, Tenn., son of Wilford "Windy" and Tina Winchester. He and Martha Ford were married Sept. 10, 1966, in East St. Louis, Ill.
Winchester was a manager with National Food Stores 23 years. He was a member of Bethalto Church of God in Bethalto, Ill.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rouque Winchester of Brighton, Shane Winchester of Collinsville, Ill.; a daughter, Mikell Winchester of Brighton; his father and stepmother, Milford and D'Orsay Winchester of Arbor; his mother and stepfather, Tina and Buford Dodd of Hazelwood; a sister, Carolyn Winchester-Becker of Manitou Springs, Colo., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4:30-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lyn Cloninger officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
