David Haman Lange, 84, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born July 23, 1938, in Cape Girardeau to Arthur and Marie Haman Lange.
David was a 1956 graduate of College High School. After high school, he worked for the FBI field office in St. Louis as a clerk. He entered the Army Reserve in 1953 and was called into active duty in 1957. After he was discharged, he worked as a mechanical contractor's manager and raised and bred Alaskan malamutes. He enjoyed collecting beer steins, coins and nutcrackers.
Survivors include a son, Mark (Michele) Lange of Argyle, Texas; grandson, Jonathan Lange of Argyle; sister, Karen (Robert) Cannon of Cape Girardeau; nephew, Justin Cannon; and extended family, Jeana (Leah) Terry of Cape Girardeau.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Lisa Lange.
A graveside service, with full military honors, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
