David Keller

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- David Frederick Keller, 64, of Leopold died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at his home.

He was born May 27, 1941, at Chaffee, Mo., son of Earl Russell and Mildred Irene Ross Keller. He and Janet Sue Haddock Yount were married March 17, 1984, at Chaffee.

Keller retired as manager of Defenders Security Guard Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Chaffee.

He served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon Sickafus of Narvon, Pa.; two stepsons, Terry Yount of Leopold, Craig Yount of Grassy, Mo.; his mother of Chaffee; a sister, Sarah Gordon of Chaffee; four brothers, David and Walter Keller of Chaffee, Kenneth and Robert Keller of Scott City; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo., from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday.

The funeral will be at noon Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
