David O. "Dave" Hutson, 61, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, with his family at his side, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 11, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, son of Robert O. and Virginia Slinkard Hutson. He and Jackie Glueck were married Aug. 24, 1991, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Missouri.
David grew up in Millersville and graduated from Jackson High School in 1976. While he enjoyed farming and ranching in his spare time, he worked for Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau for 40 years. He was a member of Bits and Pieces Antique Tractor Club.
David had been a member of the former Gravel Hill Methodist Church in the Gravel Hill community and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson with his wife, Jackie, since 1991.
Loving survivors include his wife of 28 years, Jackie Hutson; a son, Duston Hutson of Jackson; his mother, Virginia Hutson of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Paul (Brandy Bilek) Hutson of Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Donna (David) Loop of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Deacon Walter Biri and the Rev. David Crites officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
