CAIRO, Ill. -- David L. Everett, 62, of Tullahoma, Tenn., died Monday, March 25, 1996, at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. He was born in Cairo, son of Dave and Gertrude McClure Everett. CAIRO, Ill. -- David L. Everett, 62, of Tullahoma, Tenn., died Monday, March 25, 1996, at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma.

He was born in Cairo, son of Dave and Gertrude McClure Everett. He married the former Doris Fitzgerald.

Everett retired as a riverboat repair supervisor with Bellaire Marine Co. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Everett of Tullahoma, Kevin Wallace of Shadyside, Ohio; five sisters, Jean Andersen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mary Friedman of Anna, Jo Collee of Columbus, Ohio, Ellen O'Neill of Naperville, Janet Nix of Olive Branch; a brother, Billy Everett of Ullin, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, with the Rev. Tom Ragain officiating.
