David William Craiglow, 57, of Delta, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of William "Bill" and Velma Marie McLard Craiglow.
David was a graduate of Jackson High School.
He was inducted into the U.S. Navy on Oct. 13, 1972, and honorably discharged June 14, 1978.
After returning to the Cape Girardeau area he was a diesel mechanic for various businesses. David had a passion for motorcycles and in the past enjoyed participating in the Toys for Tots motorcycle ride each December.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Craiglow of Delta, Sara Blechle of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Shallow, Chloe Mae Hamilton, Jeremiah Hamilton and Layla Rae Blechle; his father of Jackson; three sisters, Mary Kay (Lee) Richardson of Jackson, Susan (Frank) Leadbetter of Jackson, Laurel Craiglow of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, James (Marilyn) Craiglow of Cape Girardeau and Jon Craiglow of Jackson.
Also surviving are many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Interment will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, with full military honors.
