STE. GENEVIEVE -- Funeral service for David Allen Bahr of Ste. Genevieve was held Wednesday at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Deacon George Wood and the Rev. John Seper officiated, with burial in Valle Spring Cemetery.

Stanton-Wood Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Bahr, 46, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 3, 1949, in Ste. Genevieve, son of Cletus and Rose Linderer Bahr.

Bahr was active in Boy Scouts and attained the rank of Life Scout. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his mother; two brothers, LeRoy Bahr of Topeka, Kan., Wayne Bahr of Ste. Genevieve; seven sisters, Elaine McClure of Belleville, Ill., Norma Weinrich of Chicago, Marilyn Retherford of Oak Ridge, Delores Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas, Cleta Hlavachick of Florence, Colo., Rose Day of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Sharon Duvall of Brewer.
