Daryl Hale, 70, of Jackson died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born July 7, 1950, to LeLand F. "Jake" and Catherine Y. Cain Hale in Anna. Illinois.

He and Mina M. Querubin were married in 1973 at Subic Bay Naval Base in Zamibales, Philippines.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving four years in the Navy.

Daryl worked at Associated Electric in New Madrid, Missouri, 38 years. He retired in 2012.

He was a member of Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a big Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors include his wife, Mina Hale; two sons, Robert L. (Laura Roodhouse) Hale of St. Peters, Missouri, and Tim D. (Crystal) Hale of Sikeston, Missouri; daughter, Lisa M. (Shane) Pipkin of Sikeston; two brothers, Harold G. (Sheila) Hale of Cape Girardeau and Warren P. (Anna) Hale of Roswell, Georgia; his special angel, Shauna Presley; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Davis officiating, with full military honors to follow. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Kidney Foundation.
