Danny Lee Warren Sr., 71, of Scott City died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at his home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Clyde William and Josephine Ruth Tanner Warren. He married Nellie Ruth Williams on March 16, 1963, in San Diego.

He was a machinist for Procter & Gamble and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie; a son, Clyde (Diana) Warren of Scott City; two brothers, James Dale and Derrick Dale, both of Jackson; a sister, Debbie Sue Dale of Scott City; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Warren Jr., on April 27, 2013.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery in Oran with military honors.
