Danny Jay Halter, 59, of Scott City died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at York Place LLC in Bertrand, Missouri. He was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Richmond, Illinois, to Lorena Frances Halter. Survivors include his mother of Scott City; a son, Raymond J. Halter of Jackson; a daughter, Lacey Allred of San Lorenzo, California; a brother, David Halter of Scott City; two sisters, Sandra Baldwin of Advance, Missouri, and Susan Smith of East Cape Girardeau, Illinois; and five grandchildren...

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
