Danny Ray Gramlisch, 64, of Advance passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 30, 1960, in Chaffee, the son of Ray Andrew and Lora Mae Jones Gramlisch. Danny and Kim Johnson were united in marriage on June 23, 1978, at Advance. She preceded him in death June 18, 2023.
Danny was the owner and operator of T & W Masonry for many years. He had also worked for 25 years as a union mason in St. Louis. He was raised in the Assembly of God Church.
Danny was a huge part of the Twin Bridges campground and community. He gave countless time and energy to organizing fundraisers and benefits to help those in need, firework displays and activities for children at the Twin Bridges campground. He enjoyed deer hunting, camping and riding side-by-sides.
Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Lesch of Delta; fiancee, Karen Rush of Malden; dogs, Buddy, Oscar and Mya; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Johnson of Painton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kim Gramlisch.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery in Marble Hill.
