Danny Floyd

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Danny Michael Floyd, 53, of Chaffee passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, comforted by family and friends, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 24, 1958, in Dexter, Mo., to the Rev. Harry "Sonny" and Freda Reaves Floyd.

Danny was involved in his family's business, Floyd and Sons Tree Service.

Loving survivors include his father, Sonny Floyd of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Duane Floyd of Jackson, Steve Floyd of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Pam Campbell of Chaffee; a special friend, Sue Herron of Chaffee; six nieces and nephews, Angie, Tricia, Tina, Michael, Derek and Brent; and many friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Freda Reaves Floyd.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Sonny Floyd officiating.
